💨 Abstract
Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, acknowledging the suffering of its people, amid a deadlock on aid delivery. He added that the situation was a consequence of the Hamas conflict, while blaming them and is insistent on their elimination for peace. Addressing criticism, Rubio said the U.S. was open to an alternative humanitarian aid plan after its heavily-criticized distribution plan met with disapproval.
