A man was rescued on October 14 after his boat drifted for 67 days in the Sea of Okhotsk, part of the northwestern Pacific. His brother and nephew, who were also on the boat, died during the ordeal. The boat, carrying the bodies, was spotted by fishermen near the village of Ust-Khayruzovo, off the coast of the Kamchatka peninsula.
