Rwanda has agreed to let troops from the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) pass through its territory to evacuate from the rebel-held city of Goma in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, according to three diplomatic sources. The SADC force, known as SAMIDRC, was sent to help Kinshasa fight rebel groups and has agreed to withdraw, with their weapons sealed for security reasons.
