💨 Abstract

A bulk carrier, CAPT NATURE, experienced mechanical failure off Gelibolu in Turkey, leading to the suspension of ship traffic in both directions on the Dardanelles Strait on Saturday. The strait connects the Marmara and Aegean seas and is a significant route for commodities exports from the Black Sea to world markets. Three tugboats were dispatched to assist.
