In the Lithuanian parliamentary election, the Social Democrats won the most votes (19%) and their leader, Vilija Blinkeviciute, expects to become the next prime minister. The centre-right Homeland Union came in second (18%) and the anti-establishment Nemunas Dawn third (15%).
