💨 Abstract

Relations between Somalia and the U.S. have deteriorated after Washington paused aid due to the demolition of a World Food Programme (WFP) warehouse in Mogadishu. The U.S. accused Somali officials of destroying the warehouse and seizing food aid, leading to the suspension of assistance. Somalia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied the allegations, stating that the warehouse was being repurposed and the aid remained in WFP custody.
