💨 Abstract
Tanzanian police arrested three opposition leaders, including the chairman and deputy chairman of CHADEMA, to prevent anti-government protests in Dar es Salaam. The arrests were made amid allegations of killings and abductions of government critics. CHADEMA claimed that police also arrested additional party members, staff, and guards at their offices, as well as three journalists covering the protests.
