💨 Abstract

Thailand released 18 Cambodian soldiers under a renewed ceasefire, easing tensions after weeks of deadly border clashes. The fighting, which included air and artillery strikes, killed at least 101 people and displaced over half a million civilians. The soldiers, held for 155 days, were returned at a border checkpoint. The handover was supervised by the International Committee of the Red Cross, marking a significant step towards peace.
