💨 Abstract
Islamist militants stormed a district police headquarters in northwest Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, killing at least three policemen. The attack was ongoing with assailants including suicide bombers being "pinned down" by police. Three attackers were killed and the area was closed to traffic as security forces neutralised the remaining attackers.
