💨 Abstract
The tourism industry in Pakistan-occupied Gilgit Baltistan (PoGB) is suffering due to poor road connectivity and underdeveloped infrastructure, particularly in Astore Valley and Rama Valley. The lack of infrastructure has led to unemployment and income generation issues for locals, and prevented tourists from visiting, causing severe livelihood problems. The Rama Valley lacks internet connectivity and has almost obliterated roads, with locals forced to use dangerous walking tracks.
