💨 Abstract
A British man, Andrew Fuller (also known as James Wellesley), accused of running a $99 million Ponzi-like scheme involving fake luxury wines, lost his extradition battle to the U.S. Fuller, along with co-defendant Stephen Burton, allegedly defrauded investors through Bordeaux Cellars. Fuller argued for a trial in Britain, but Judge Ian Dove ruled that the losses occurred in the U.S., and thus ordered his extradition.
