The U.S. has expanded sanctions against Iran's petroleum and petrochemical sectors in response to Iran's missile attack on Israel. This aims to limit Iran's ability to earn energy revenues and destabilize the region. Six entities are sanctioned for their involvement in Iran's petroleum trade, and 16 entities and 17 vessels are designated as blocked property.
