💨 Abstract
Vietnam plans to build a new railway linking it with China's Yunnan province, estimated to cost $7.2 billion. The 427-km railway will run from the border province of Lao Cai to Ha Long City, passing through Hanoi and Haiphong. Construction is expected to start in 2030. The plan has been submitted to the transport ministry for review and approval.
