💨 Abstract
An employee at the Gondwana Private Game Reserve near Mossel Bay, South Africa, was fatally trampled by an elephant on Tuesday. The 39-year-old victim was found with multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred at around 08:00, and have opened an inquest docket. The elephant was removed from the camp upon arrival.
