💨 Abstract
Two male lions from Kgalagadi National Park have been released into Addo Elephant National Park. The seven-year-olds, acclimatized in a boma, are settling well and will increase genetic diversity. With two recent lioness additions, the park now has 12 lions, with nine in the main viewing area and three in the Nyathi section. The males are collared for monitoring, aiding in managing the lion population in relation to park size and prey species.
