💨 Abstract
Amazon is cutting 30,000 jobs, primarily affecting office roles, to streamline operations and reduce bureaucracy. The cuts, announced in phases, will not impact distribution and warehouse workers, who make up most of Amazon's 1.5 million employees. The company aims to increase efficiency and ownership across teams. Amazon will release its full-year 2025 results on February 6.
