💨 Abstract

South Africa's National Treasury has received R91.835 billion over the medium-term expenditure framework, with a significant portion, R45.760 billion, allocated to SARS to enhance revenue collection and modernize tax systems. The budget aims to improve public sector efficiency and includes funds for staff expansion, debt collection, and e-invoicing. Additionally, South Africa has completed FATF requirements and is preparing for an assessment to exit the grey list.
