💨 Abstract

Five alleged business robbery suspects were fatally shot in Riverlea, Johannesburg, according to Gauteng police. The incident followed a robbery early Sunday morning, 13th of July 2025 in the Joburg CBD. During a police operation, the suspects opened fire, resulting in a shootout. Three suspects were killed, and a fourth was declared dead without injuries. Two unlicensed firearms and stolen items were recovered.
