💨 Abstract
The iconic Kings Park Swimming Pool in Durban is receiving a R42 million upgrade, scheduled to reopen by June 2026. The pool, closed since November 2024 due to storm damage, is being revamped in two stages. Phase One, focusing on emergency repairs, will conclude by the end of July. Phase Two, lasting a year, will include structural work, aesthetic enhancements, and safety improvements.
