💨 Abstract
In 2007, Jan Hendrik De Vos was fined R100,000 (or faced three years in jail) for speeding at 295 km/h on the N2 near Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal. His unlicensed superbike had no number plate. Kavilyn Govender was fined R40,000 for speeding at 216 km/h in a Mazda RX-8.
