Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, a former Miss South Africa (2010) and businesswoman, has taken over the Miss Universe South Africa franchise under African Beauty International. She will oversee the pageant, which will send South Africa’s representative to the 2023 Miss Universe in Thailand. Bokang, the only South African to compete in four global pageants, aims to empower women and redefine beauty. She also owns Miss South Africa and directs Mrs.
