💨 Abstract
The Kiffness, a Cape Town musician, claimed he lost a R500,000 business deal after publicly supporting right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. The deal was terminated due to "reputational risk" stemming from social media activity. The Kiffness expressed that he values speaking out on important issues over brand deals. Several South African figures and organizations also paid tribute to Kirk following his death.
