💨 Abstract
South Africans are calling for the resignation of Sport, Arts, and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie after old, racially-charged tweets, including the use of the K-word, resurfaced. McKenzie, also leader of the Patriotic Alliance, has faced backlash for his past comments about black people and for demanding the cancellation of the Open Chats Podcast over disparaging remarks about the coloured community.
