💨 Abstract
A California nurse, Suze Lopez, discovered she was pregnant just before surgery to remove a 10kg ovarian cyst. During the procedure, doctors found a nearly full-term baby outside the uterus, a rare occurrence. The baby, Ryu Lopez, was delivered safely, weighing 8 pounds, despite Lopez experiencing severe hemorrhage. The medical team used 11 units of blood to stabilize her. Ryu's parents consider him a gift from God.
