💨 Abstract
A virally circulating video presents a group, presumed to be African Americans, chanting the apartheid-era song “Kill The Boer.” This platform was recently urged to condemnation for being “racist” by U.S. President Donald Trump, UK media personality Piers Morgan and others. Debate hinges around its approval in South Africa, which deemed it not hate speech. The song was historically sung at anti-Apartheid and various political rallies in South Africa.
