đź’¨ Abstract
DStv will air several Leon Schuster movies in December, despite their "racially insensitive" content, including blackface. The decision follows a KykNET documentary celebrating Schuster, whom the producer calls a "national treasure." The films, banned in 2020 amid the Black Lives Matter movement, include "Mr. Bones" and "Mama Jack." Schuster has since acknowledged the controversy and committed to understanding the criticism.
