💨 Abstract
Two men were arrested in connection with a R1.8 billion jewel heist at the Louvre Museum in Paris. The theft involved a truck-mounted ladder to access the Apollo Gallery through a first-floor window, with nine precious items, including a tiara worn by Queen Marie-Amélie, stolen in seven minutes. DNA evidence led to the arrests, with one suspect caught at Charles de Gaulle Airport attempting to flee to Algeria.
