💨 Abstract
A South African rowing crew made history as the nation’s first team of color to compete at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. The four athletes—Lwazi-Tsebo Zwane, Lebone Mokheseng, Sepitle Leshilo, and Sheldon Krishnasamy—competed in the Men’s Championship 4+ event, breaking barriers in a sport historically dominated by white, affluent athletes.
