💨 Abstract
A former Virgin Atlantic flight attendant, Mandy Smith, shared insights on the "mile high club" during a YouTube Q&A. She revealed that flight crews are aware of such activities, which occur on about one in 20 or 30 flights. Crews are trained to spot signs of inappropriate behavior and can even unlock bathroom doors if necessary. Smith mentioned that while crews usually interrupt such activities, there might be exceptions on night flights.
