💨 Abstract

A R2.1 million mobile eye clinic donated to the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Optometry discipline will enhance eye health care in rural KwaZulu-Natal. Sponsored by the South African Muslim Charitable Trust, the clinic offers screenings, examinations, and eyewear, while also providing practical training for optometry students. The initiative aims to address preventable blindness and improve the quality of life in underserved communities.
