💨 Abstract

On International Day for Older Persons, KwaZulu-Natal's Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli committed to a plan encouraging elderly participation in socio-economic development. The province aims to protect and empower seniors, acknowledging their historical roles and addressing abuses they face. Ntuli highlighted the need for protective mechanisms and social inclusion, urging seniors to collaborate with the government to end violence and abuse. The event honored the late Nathi Mthethwa and was attended by thousands of elderly citizens.
