💨 Abstract

A 41.82-carat blue diamond, discovered at the Cullinan Mine in South Africa, is expected to set a record value. The diamond, described as having exceptional color and clarity, is classified as a rare Type IIb stone. It could fetch over $57.5 million at auction. The diamond is notably large, weighing about 8.36 grams and measuring approximately 25 mm in diameter.
