💨 Abstract
On July 30, Rand Water will replace key water meters in Johannesburg, possibly causing 14-hour water outages and low-pressure issues in certain areas, particularly Abbatoir and Market. This initiative aims to improve water supply efficiency. Residents are advised to prepare by storing water and expect it to take up to three days for supplies to normalize post-maintenance. Additionally, Johannesburg Water is now responsible for billing, aiming to enhance customer service and billing accuracy.
