💨 Abstract
During Zimbabwe's State of the Nation Address (SONA), a power outage plunged Parliament into darkness as President Emmerson Mnangagwa concluded his speech. The incident sparked debate over whether it was sabotage or a natural cause. Mnangagwa finished his speech under torchlight, and Speaker Jacob Mudenda vowed to find the culprit. This is the second such incident, with a similar blackout occurring during the national budget presentation in November. Zimbabwe continues to face widespread power shortages.
