💨 Abstract

The Durban High Court has set trial dates for the five men accused of murdering South African musician AKA and his friend, celebrity chef Tibz, who were killed in Durban in 2023. The trial is scheduled for July-August and October-November in 2026. The presiding judge criticized the slow progress of pre-trial issues, and the defence is pushing for the disclosure of witness statements.
