💨 Abstract

South African motorists may face a significant fuel price hike in April due to rising global oil prices, driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. The Central Energy Fund reports substantial under-recoveries for petrol and diesel, indicating potential price increases. If current trends persist, petrol could rise by up to R3.70 per litre, and diesel by around R6.29 per litre.
