The article forecasts a continued increase in fuel prices for South African motorists in February 2025, due to a weakening rand and rising oil prices. The Central Energy Fund projects a 94 cents increase for petrol 93 octane, 87 cents for 95 users, a 110-114 cents increase for diesel, and a 101 cents increase for illuminating paraffin.
