💨 Abstract
South Africa is continuing to see a significant outflow of wealthy individuals, with 250 high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) leaving in 2024, totaling an estimated R28 billion in wealth. This is part of a decade-long trend, with the country's millionaire population declining by 12%. The top destination for these HNWIs is the United Arab Emirates.
