💨 Abstract

On June 5 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, parts of Manenberg and The Downs in Cape Town will experience a scheduled power outage for essential maintenance. Resident’s appliances are in danger of damage from power surges, therefore preemptively switching them off prior to the outage is recommended. They should also consider the electrical lines live, during the planned maintenance work. The city apologized and thanked residents for their patience and cooperation.
