đź’¨ Abstract
A South African police sergeant, Myka Constance Shale, is accused of hiding a firearm linked to a gang-related murder of 38-year-old Wilfred Casper. Shale, from the Crime Intelligence Gathering unit, allegedly failed to declare the weapon found at the crime scene. Eight suspects, believed to be members of the SVK gang, have been arrested for the murder in Marikana. Shale was granted bail and will appear in court again on October 6.
