💨 Abstract
The Western Cape High Court ordered the Road Accident Fund (RAF) to pay R1.4 million to an undocumented Malawian man, Charles Jeka Chipofya, who was injured in a car crash. Despite RAF's attempt to rescind the payment due to concerns over Chipofya's documentation, the court upheld the award.
