💨 Abstract
The death toll from Eastern Cape floods in South Africa has risen to 103, including 32 children. Most victims were from the OR Tambo and Amathole districts. The floods destroyed homes, schools, and infrastructure, affecting over 6,000 households and displacing more than 4,000 people. Rescue teams are still searching for victims, and relief efforts are ongoing, including plans to build temporary homes.
