💨 Abstract
A former manager of a South African Post Office in Mpumalanga, along with a teller and another individual, defrauded SASSA beneficiaries of R250,000 by creating duplicate SASSA cards and making unauthorized ATM withdrawals. The former manager, Lucia Mashego, was sentenced to eight years imprisonment, suspended for five years, and was ordered to forfeit R146,897.05 from her pension fund.
