💨 Abstract

The Gauteng Education Department has launched its 2026 Online Admissions System for Grade 1 and Grade 8 learners. Parents can apply online at www.gdeadmissions.gov.za until August 29 2025, and there are 81 walk-in centers for assistance. The system can handle 40,000 applications per minute, with 80,000 applications already processed.
