đź’¨ Abstract
A parliamentary ethics committee cannot investigate Minister Gayton McKenzie's old tweets containing racial slurs because they predate his time as an MP. McKenzie has apologized for some tweets and denied using the K-word. Meanwhile, the South African Human Rights Commission will address the complaints. McKenzie insists he has never been racist and denies the alleged tweets.
