💨 Abstract
Frustrated Gqeberha residents protested delayed electricity meter installations by dumping waste, barricading roads, and torching vehicles. Residents of Wells Estate have waited since last November, with only a few meters installed out of thousands promised. Protesters also demanded the release of two arrested women. The situation is being monitored by the police.
