💨 Abstract
ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula declared that the party will no longer shield members accused of corruption and emphasized the need for ethical conduct. Speaking at a regional conference, Mbalula acknowledged the ANC’s corruption issues, including findings from the Zondo Commission, and urged members to abandon practices harming the party’s image. He warned that unchecked behavior is over and called for reform and accountability. Critics, however, argue that promises must be backed by genuine action.
