💨 Abstract
The City of Cape Town will pause upgrade work at Muizenberg Beach from 19 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 to ensure smooth access for holidaymakers. The project, which includes replacing the seawall and improving amenities, will resume in the new year. Temporary measures, such as installing precast promenade sections, will continue until the pause. Deputy Mayor Eddie Andrews advises visitors to arrive early and follow safety guidelines.
