💨 Abstract

Matthew Gruter, a civil engineer, was deported from Australia for participating in an anti-Jewish protest in Sydney. He arrived in South Africa with his wife and baby, expressing frustration and claiming his deportation was unfair. Gruter was part of a group that chanted Nazi slogans and displayed anti-Jewish banners, actions condemned by Australian authorities. Australian Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke emphasized that such behavior is incompatible with Australian values.
