💨 Abstract
KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has initiated disciplinary action against a police officer who drove a doorless marked police car after an accident. The incident occurred on June 1 when a female Warrant Officer was trapped in a collided vehicle and needed the door removed for rescue. Another officer drove the doorless vehicle, ignoring protocol, endangering himself, and harming the SAPS's image, according to Colonel Robert Netshiunda.
